Worth Discovering｜ Home Decor ｜Vintage Willow Basket - Circa 1945

Woven from solid Willow sometime around 1945, this vintage basket has the kind of worn-in texture that only comes from decades of actual use. The body is rounded and full, with close vertical weaving that keeps the form tight and structured even after all this time. Its arched handle sits firm at the top, darkened and softened at the edges where hands have held it most. The finish moves from warm honey tones through deeper, weathered browns, with small marks and worn spots that read as age, not damage. At 16" long, 14" deep, and 22" tall, it has real presence. A natural fit alongside antique baskets, rustic wood accents, or a vintage bench in farmhouse, coastal, or wabi sabi spaces.
